After Donald Trump's Pakistan comment, Subramanian Swamy calls for more grounded India-US relations

NEW DELHI: In the wake of United States President Donald Trump's searing assault on Pakistan for giving 'place of refuge to the fear mongers', senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pioneer Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday called for additionally fortifying of respective relations with the United States.

"Presently, India ought to be evident that on the off chance that we need to manage Pakistan, we need to have the help of United States and Israel. As a measure of generosity, we should move our international safe haven from Tel Aviv to western Jerusalem," Swamy told ANI.

In his tweet against Pakistan, the US President yesterday expressed, "The United States has stupidly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in help throughout the most recent 15 years, and they have given us only lies and double dealing, thinking about our pioneers as idiots. They give place of refuge to the psychological oppressors we chase in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!"
